Brunel Business School has an ambitious, quality driven strategy, which will see us strengthen our position as a world-class Business School in research, education and enterprise. As an AMBA, AACSB, PRME and Small Business Charter, accredited Business School we are seeking to recruit an outstanding individual for an education and research lectureship to play a crucial role in the School achieving its vision.

We offer an exciting, stimulating, challenging and dynamic working environment for all our staff. The Business School is an integral part of the University with successful undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, a large PhD portfolio as well as an MBA.

Academics in the OP Division are active in research, teaching and industry engagement in key sub-disciplines related to equality, diversity and inclusivity in organisations as well as positive organisational studies, including compassionate leadership. The reach of the division is accordingly quite broad as, in addition to making important contributions to academic research in these areas, colleagues also seek to engage with and make a positive impact on modern public and private sector organizations. Colleagues publish in top tier management and organizational studies journals including Academy of Management Review, Journal of Management, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Journal and British Journal of Management. All academics in the Division supervise doctoral students across a range of relevant research topics contributing to a lively research and teaching culture and where postgraduate research students are considered an integral part of the community.

We would like to hear from applicants with a relevant PhD in management or economics, along with evidence of research outputs through a track record of high-quality publications, ideally at a minimum ABS 3* level (or equivalent standing) and/or research grant income. You will have strong potential leadership skills and clear plans for current and future research together with experience of teaching in any area of human resource management and organisational behaviour. You will also demonstrate a robust interest in innovative approaches to teaching and be expected to provide research support (as appropriate) and mentoring to others in the group.

Closing date for applications: Friday 15th July 2022
