We’re looking for a Grants & Admin Assistant on behalf of our associated charity PRS Members’ Fund.

The Role:

 

About PRS Members’ Fund: we are dedicated to supporting PRS songwriter and composer members through life’s challenges by offering hardship funding and wellbeing support when it’s needed most. As a charity with deep roots in the music community, we exist to help music creators navigate hardships, whether it’s through health and wellbeing support, housing assistance, or financial aid, so they can focus on what they do best: making music. 

 

Purpose:

 

To support the smooth running of the Fund’s administrative processes, with a particular focus on grant administration and application processing. The role contributes to the efficient operation of the charity through the maintenance of accurate records, effective information management, and the delivery of a professional and responsive service to members, colleagues, and stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Primarily to assist with the administration of grant programmes, including application processing, record keeping, correspondence with members, and related administrative activities.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the office through a range of administrative duties, including data entry, document preparation, research, information management, royalty income processing and general office support.
• Maintain and update the Fund’s CRM database (Salesforce), ensuring records are accurate, current, and compliant with data management requirements.
• Support the preparation of reports, surveys, and other administrative documentation as required.
• Assist with the planning and delivery of events, fundraising activities, member engagement initiatives, and other organisational projects, including attendance at events when required

About you

 

• Experience in an administrative, customer service, office support, or similar role, preferably within a charity, membership organisation, or comparable environment.
• Experience of processing information, maintaining records, and carrying out administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience of working with databases, CRM systems, or other business information systems.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

The Process
Our interview process for this role is simple:

  • First stage interview will take place virtually on MS Teams.
  • Second stage interview will take place in person at our London Bridge Hub.

We use competency-based questions within our interviews. This allows you to provide examples of situations where you have had to demonstrate the required skills relevant to the role you are applying for. To assist your preparation for interview, research the STAR method to aid bringing your examples to life.

Location


We offer a hybrid working model, allowing employees with working from home 1 day per week (for this role). Please note there is a requirement to be in the office two days whilst training.
