The Role
The Commercial Department at PRS for Music is the customer facing and revenue generating arm of one of the world’s leading music copyright collectives. We are a UK based team of over 40 individuals who currently generate in excess of £650 million per year for our members through licensing music usage to a wide variety of industries, including; major and independent record labels, music festivals, broadcasters, computer game platforms and publishers and increasingly Web3 and the Metaverse.
We are currently undergoing a dynamic and exciting Sales Transformation process that will result in us delivering in excess of £1 billion a year to our members by 2026 and we are looking for new colleagues to help us reach our goals. Responsibilities
As our Senior Manager for Audio & Digital, some of your day to day duties will include…
To lead, develop and drive the Digital & Audio Sales teams to ensure we maximise royalty revenues by developing existing relationships, increasing licence penetration through up / cross selling within relevant markets, proactively driving new business and delivering excellent customer service.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will proactively contribute to departmental strategy, and assist in the delivery of company wide priorities & KPIs.
Direct line management of two Key Account Managers, indirect management of a team of seven.

About you

- Proven ability to manage and inspire a high performing sales team. Experience in high volume sales

- Strong analytical and numeracy skills, including variance reporting. Ability to understand and interpret complex data, presenting information clearly and concisely
- Strong negotiation skills with proven track record
- Commercially focussed and results orientated, with proven track record of exceeding financial sales targets
- Extensive experience using CRM platforms, especially Salesforce, to exceed sales targets
- Excellent knowledge of relevant industries and music rights, including good understanding of copyright law and PRS for Music
- Existing relationships or contacts within the music and/or wider media industries
- Educated to degree level

The Process
Our interview process for this role is simple:

First stage interview will take place virtually on MS Teams.

Second stage interview will take place in person at our London Bridge Hub.

This allows you to provide examples of situations where you have had to demonstrate the required skills relevant to the role you are applying for. Location
We offer a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work from home up to three days a week.
