Location: Commutable distance to Winchester at least twice a week

Lead development & execution of plans to realise the internal and/or external communications vision, with a significant impact on improving the internal and external perception of Arqiva
The role
• Develops and executes plans to deliver the internal or external communications vision and strategy for Arqiva, with a significant impact on improved internal or external perceptions of Arqiva
• Leads pan-Arqiva, reputation impacting communication activities and needs; clarifies outcomes sought and shapes the right communications approach and messaging
• Sets and implements improvements to governance framework for internal/external communications assets, campaigns and channels; sponsors alignment with Marketing, Public Affairs
•Accountable for protecting and building reputation via the media and/or external agencies
•Partnering across Exco and Leaderships teams to influence, advise and coach on internal and external communication and messaging (pan Arqiva).
• Manages a very significant portfolio of external communications providers, . media and creative agencies, to improve reputation and communications effectiveness/efficiency
• Develops and executes plans to implement internal and external communications channel and platform strategy, to improve communications effectiveness/efficiency
• Drives and acts on insight on internal or external perception using a range of measurement tools and techniques
The person
• Can prepare proposals and plans and then present them persuasively to gain support for delivery
• Has exemplary communication skills, adapting to audience and channel to achieve outcomes that have impact
• Has excellent relationship building and active listening skills and can adapt personal style to project team / stakeholder to ensure needs and outcomes are understood
• Has the highest level of integrity and is comfortable working with sensitive information / in pressurised situations
• Substantial experience of internal or external communications and its application
• Is comfortable speaking on behalf of / representing the company on external forums / at events
• Track record of applying the core skills of planning, channel management, message and content creation, and measurement relative to reach and impact to achieve impact, action and engagement
• Experience of campaign management and engaging with media and/or external agencies to deliver business outcomes
