Working as a CNC Engineer, youll produce precision components in a production environment, and manufacture machined components to engineering drawings, using set work instructions and schedules. You will need to work to production targets, maintaining accurate quality records and documentation as well as carrying out manual inspections perform quality checks.

Youre likely a great fit for this role if youre experienced and confident using Fanuc programming language to run a variety of CNC lathes with specific responsibility for programming, and setting and running sliding head lathes such as Tsugamis and Citizens.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Machining products for prototype, concept products and standard production requirements within the machine shop
  • Working to design drawings and specifications
  • Working closely with all engineers in the department, as part of the wider machine shop team of 25 team members
  • Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience running and programming sliding head Lathes
  • Experience with metrology skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings
