Are you dedicated to supporting students with special educational needs to reach their full potential during their journey in education? If so, we want you to join us! Tradewind Recruitment are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a 1-1 basis with students in a range of secondary schools in the Dover area. These will be a full time positions starting immediately until the end of the school year – daily rate of between £88.94 and £100 depending on experience.
The role:
Provide 1-1 support to a student with SEN helping them access the curriculum and develop essential skillsWork closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and support strategies for the studentFoster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where the student feels valued and supportedMonitor the student’s progress and feedback observations to the SENCO and teaching teamRequirements:
Experience of working with students with SEN, preferably in a school setting would be preferred although any relevant experience would be consideredUnderstand the different learning styles and strategies needed to support diverse needsPatience, empathy and a genuine passion for working with young peopleExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checksCV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possibleLegal right to work in the UKJoin us now to make a positive difference in the lives of students and empower every student to achieve their full potential!
