We are now seeking a Finance assistant to join our team of seasoned professsionals. Taking responsibility for providing administrative support and ensuring the creation of accurate and reliable data, you will be working alongside a highly experienced, time-served team who will give you the support and guidance needed to develop your career.
Job responsibilities of Finance Assistant include:
Checking accuracy of purchase invoices and nominal codingUpdate of purchase order logsReconciliation of weekly subcontract costs and resolving queriesPreparation of weekly costingsOrdering of office stationary / uniforms / materials / packaging etc.Reconcile of 3rd party volume dataManage the weekly debt reportQualifications
To apply for the role of Finance Assistant, you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications:
Have excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skillsBe able to make decisions under pressure, and to a tight timescaleHave a flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the yearBe able to communicate well at all levels within the businessHave the ability to identify and suggest improvements to benefit both GBD and our customerKnowledge of SAP, and Road Runner would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be givenPC Literate in Word, Excel and OutlookShould demonstrate the drive and desire to progressMust be flexible in approach to work and shift patternsAdditional Information
