General Manager

• £50,000 per year + Tronc
• Full time 45 hours (weekends and bank holidays)

We’re on the lookout for a General Manager to lead our much-loved Hampstead restaurant – a local landmark known for its fresh, exciting food, buzzing atmosphere, and loyal following that stretches far beyond the neighbourhood.

What you’ll be doing:
Leading from the front – inspiring a dedicated front and back-of-house team to deliver exceptional service every day.
Creating memorable guest experiences – ensuring every visit feels warm, seamless, and special.
Running the show – overseeing all daily operations with a sharp eye for detail and a focus on consistency.
Driving results – managing budgets, keeping costs on track, and finding smart ways to grow revenue.
Keeping things fresh – working with the team on menus, drinks, and campaigns that excite guests and celebrate creativity.
Building the team – recruiting, training, and mentoring staff to grow their skills and confidence.
Fine-tuning operations – streamlining service, optimising table flow, and keeping health & safety on point.
What we’re looking for:
A proven track record as a General Manager or senior leader in a quality hospitality setting.
A calm, confident leadership style with plenty of passion for hospitality.
Solid knowledge of natural wines and cocktails – and the ability to share that enthusiasm with staff and guests alike.
Strong financial know-how, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth.
Brilliant communication skills and the talent to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
A detail-driven approach and a commitment to delivering nothing short of excellence.
