The role will involve:

  • Play your part in leading our expanding ESG Advisory Services practice;
  • Develop new business opportunities;
  • Be part of the strategy and target setting for the ESG Advisory Services team;
  • Build internal and external relationships; and
  • Contribute towards thought leadership on ESG related matters, e.g. standardization of ESG reporting; how to measure “impact”; benchmarking private assets and their ESG contribution; decarbonization; etc

Essential skills & experience

Applicants must have:

  • a university degree and a background in the fields of business, finance, economics, environmental science/technology, engineering, sustainability, or similar discipline;

  • relevant professional experience of ESG projects, preferably in the PE sector supporting both PE houses and portfolio companies;
  • a proven track record of business development activities;
  • a problem-solving mindset;
  • the ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams; and
  • drive, motivation and a desire to invoke change.

 

Desirable skills & experience

  • Prior consulting experience is highly desirable, but not a prerequisite.
  • Experience of working in responsible investment, in particular the following areas: ESG due diligence; ESG strategy, frameworks and materiality; climate risk; TCFD assessment, KPI selection and reporting.
  • A well-developed personal network and relationships with a range of PE organisations will be an advantage.
