About the role

This position sits within our EIS Division and this team is primarily responsible for data security, policy violations, investigations and working with the Privacy Council on Vendor related and security related incidents. This role is supporting the Privacy Office covering South America, Portugal, UK and Ireland and requires a strong individual contributor that will triage, investigate, analyze, and contain information governance / privacy / IT security incidents.


Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the triage, investigate, analyze, and contain information governance / privacy / IT security events and via all intake mechanisms
  • Assist in the engagement of time – sensitive, cross – functional investigations that may involve multiples teams from across the Enterprise, matrixed and leadership reporting and escalation
  • Assist in the participation of maintaining incident handling metrics, databases and other investigation tools
  • Assist in the provision of privacy / information governance / IT security consultation to IT and business
  • Participate in documentation review and continuous operational improvement
  • Assist in the remediation of privacy / information governance / security incidents, ensuring compliance with enterprise policies, and regulatory mandates, with specific focus on EU and UK -based mandates (e.g. GDPR and NHS contractual requirements)
  • Participate in and complete other duties, as assigned
  • Participate in escalated events and manage security incident War Rooms
  • Participate in documentation review and continuous operational improvement

Required Experience and Skills  

  • Ability to triage, investigate, analyze, and contain information governance / privacy / IT security events
  • Experience in an information technology related field
  • IT security or cyber security experience preferred
  • Previous incident management exposure
  • Familiarity with GDPR and NHS Contractual obligations

Preferred experience

  • Exposure to triaging and investigating incidents in the Cloud (Azure and AWS

  • Strong organisation, planning, analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills
  • Strong writing and documentation skills
  • Information governance / privacy experience in the EU
