What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for the planning, management and delivery of all aspects of a full cycle recruiting process within region

  • Manage and mentor all team members, including objective setting and performance management – cultivate a one-team approach and encourage recruiting team members to contribute to Early Careers(EC)-wide projects​

  • Drive operational excellence and consistency across the team​

  • Manage the team to successfully deliver on EC demand and inclusion and diversity ambitions, assessing progress through the hiring season to engage any necessary actions to ensure demand and goals are met

  • Create, develop and sustain core relationships with external partners to build attraction pipeline strategies for scale with a focus on building Inclusion and Diversity(I&D) pipelines

  • Deliver relevant insights on EC performance, specific talent segments & geographies, ensuring service delivery meets standards ​

  • Build sourcing strategies for the business to meet current demand and to build a pipeline for future roles​

  • Support preparation of EC presentations at leadership meetings

  • Build strong partnerships internally and externally

  • Educate hiring managers on EC products and strategy as a Subject Matter Expert(SME) using internal and external data or benchmarking

  • Act as an ambassador of Expedia Group, demonstrating and articulating our values, work environment, business strategies and benefits​

  • Work collaboratively, putting the goals of the team and business first, embodying Expedia Group’s Mission, Purpose and Values​

  • Champion Inclusion and Diversity, challenging colleagues and business partners to drive improved representation

Who you are:

  • Familiarity with a highly matrixed environment

  • Leadership experience

  • Executive and/or managerial pipelining and hiring experience

  • Corporate recruitment experience preferred

  • Ability to influence hiring managers by providing valuable recruiting advice and insights

  • Ability to comprehensively understand the business strategy and connect it to a talent strategy

  • Capacity to anticipate future talent needs of the organization and build a steady stream of prospective talent

  • Ability to understand an organization’s business model, operations, financial goals, and competitive position

  • Exceptional networking and candidate engagement skills

  • Possess strong skills related to all aspects of a full-cycle recruiting process

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including being able to prioritize workload based on business needs

  • Ability to operate successfully in a highly matrixed organization

  • Demonstrated ability in exercising sound judgement while working with a high degree of independence
