Now is your chance…The role of Broker Support Advisor is really important to us. You will work as part of the Mortgages Operations Telephony team, managing and supporting customers and brokers through the application process and post completion mortgage life cycle, providing exceptional service during all customer and broker interactions – ensuring the end to end process is efficient, standards are met at all touch points and information is provided in a professional and effective manner.It is a fast paced environment, requiring the right candidate to keep up to date with policy and process changes and there it lots to learn, but it is hugely rewarding to see the process through to completion knowing you have supported people through the house buying or re mortgage process.When the time is right, we would love to welcome you to our Wilmslow office. In the meantime you may be based remotely. You’ll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager, Operations Manager and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction. What would your day look like?* To manage inbound calls from Intermediaries, prospective and existing customers* Provide support by being expert in both policy and process requirements to ensure an efficient application process* Working as part of the operations department, to deliver against key targets and objectives* At all times working to right first time, to deal with queries effectively to reduce turnaround times, delays with the case and account processing and minimise* Support a culture of continuous improvement, working to identify better ways of working that contribute to a proficient overall customer journey* Being aware for potential process, business and external risks and working to mitigate and reduce theseWhat do we expect of you?* Excellent customer service focus* Confidence with the ability to handle challenging objections whilst maintaining relationships* Excellent organizational, communication, numerical and analytical skills* Good team player skills are essential with a track record of working within a dynamic team continuously looking for improvement* Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment* Demonstrable problem solving, decision-making and time management skills* Experience of working within a regulated, banking or financial services environment* Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook, and ability to learn various in-house systemsWhat can you expect of us?* A friendly and flexible culture, synonymous with our proposition to our customers.* A growing organisation that defines itself as being nimble, lean and strong.* A drive for continuous improvement, which you will be empowered to get behind from day one. * A communicative, accessible and approachable ExCo.
