Job description£30,000p.a. basic salary + commission, OTE £60,000p.a.Looking for a new sales role in business to business publishing?A market leading pension fund information publishers based in the City of London is looking for an Advertising Sales Manager to join their successful and developing team. The successful applicant will look after all advertising and editorial sales for our unique local authority pension fund magazine published every other month focussing on topics including Alternative Investments, Infrastructure, Global Equities and Fixed Income;Sales across our range of annual conferences is a key part of the role;Relevant experience in institutional sales is preferred, and whilst support will be given in the achievement of regular targets, we are looking for a “self-starter” since we are a small team and you will be expected to work alone at times.Duties in the role: * Tele-sales – selling advertising space * Actively develop new and existing relationships via client visits and attending trade events * Promote new products including our monthly LGPS webinar * Essential experiences you will need for the role are * Track record in exceeding advertising sales targetsExperience in the publishing sector, preferably with a knowledge of institutional sales and conferencesIT skills – Word, Excel, web, email etcCommunicate effectively – verbal and written to external audiences.
