Job summary

You will be involved in the coordinating all aspects of the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre for Brain Injury. You will be a key link in communication between the core team, theme leads, and national collaborating partners, and will be required to fulfil several administrative and organisational duties. These include planning and organisation of stakeholder meetings, management of information assets, scheduling of outreach and industry events, and supporting the development of external funding bids.

Main duties of the job

To be responsible for the overall co-ordination of the HealthTech Research Centre (HRC) core team, including scheduling and administrative duties to support the Directors and Programme Manager.

Working as a member of the core team to contribute to the delivery of project plans, identifying risks, isuues and dependencies, considering best practice and current options.

To support the documentation and upkeep of key data assets, including meeting minutes, and core information directories (unmet need, innovations, and experts / networks), including updating on a regular basis with the required information.

Provide administrative support for the HRCs reporting process, including compiling elements of the annual report in conjunction with the core team and theme leads.

Organise and coordinate regular meetings, including core team, advisory group, and stakeholder meetings. To arrange and support Stakeholder Events and Workshops.

To be responsible for ensuring all open actions are monitored and kept up to date on a weekly basis.

To maintain patient confidentiality at all times and uphold Trust values.

To act as the point of contact for the Centre. To respond to and assist with any queries from collaborating partners, external parties, and public members via telephone and email, in an efficient and friendly manner, taking messages and/ or redirecting as appropriate.

Undertake other duties as may reasonably be expected from the postholder’s role, skills and experience.

  • Educated to degree level or NVQ level 4 or equivalent.
