Anexciting opportunity has arisen within the Specialist Business Unit of LeedsCommunity HealthCare NHS Trust. We are looking to recruit an experiencedqualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join us in our supportivemultidisciplinary team, delivering the best care we can for our patients. Working alongside the award winning Long Covid rehabilitation team, successfulcandidates will provide assessment and delivery of Cognitive BehaviouralTherapy counselling and support to patients suffering with symptoms of LongCovid. This will be via a combination of 1:1 appointments (face to face,telephone, virtual) as well as facilitating virtual group sessions. We offer the successful candidate a flexible role which supports a hybrid modelof working from clinics across the city and from home.

We would consider applications on a 12 month secondment/fixed term basis.

Main duties of the job

Youmust be able to demonstrate an awareness and understanding of treating patientswith long term conditions. You must be able to demonstrate that you have theability to work within a newly developing multi-disciplinary team and be ableto implement change in response to the changing picture of COVID 19.

The role will include working with people in clinics based across the city, aswell as delivering treatment virtually with online educational programs andappointments. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptableand able to travel independently with access to a suitable vehicle for businesspurposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with theEquality Act 2010.

You should be a team player whilst also being comfortable with workingautonomously. You should also have excellent communication skills both verbaland written. Sound IT skills are essential.
