Activities Co-ordinator (In-House)

£18,060 per annum (FTE £22,575)

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic,and brilliantly organised individual to support children and families livingwith a life limited condition with an activities and events programme.

Main duties of the job

This role involves:

  • Develop and provide age-appropriate recreation, activities and events for children, young people and their families staying at Chestnut Tree House
  • Develop engaging and exciting events for children, young people and their families during the school holidays
  • Liaising with external organisations and individuals, to book visits and activities for children, young adults and their families.
  • Co-ordinate volunteers who help with activities.
  • Be aware of and follow Child and Adult Safeguarding Procedures
  • Ensuring activities and events are safe and effective through comprehensive planning and administration.

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East and West Sussexand South East Hampshire, providing specialistpalliative care for children and young people with life-shortening conditions.
