Job summary

The eHospital training team is responsible for ensuring that all staff at our hospitals’ (Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie) receive appropriate training and support in the use of our electronic patient record held on Epic.

Our vision for the future is one where technology supports the everyday work of doctors, nurses, technicians, managers and patients. To succeed, this vision must be supported by a programme of training which equips staff to make the best use of technology in caring for our patients, whilst making learning engaging and accessible for both new to trust staff, and existing staff who want to improve their use.

To support varying learning needs and our programme to increase the efficiency of staff using Epic, we are looking to recruit an eLearning Developer.

Main duties of the job

Your role will include developing a broad range of learning and educational resources including eLearning content, pre-course information/study packages and material to support the delivery of taught courses.

You will be work closely with the eHospital Principal Trainer for eLearning along with eHospital Application Principal Trainers as they update and customise the training required based on system developments and clinical workflow impacts.

You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to engage and influence people at all levels and demonstrate a passion for education, teaching and learning.
