An opportunity has arisen for a Nurse Team Lead within the Infection Prevention and Control Team (IPCT) to provide professional leadership and operational management to promote the delivery of a sustainable Infection Control Service in Technical and Acute Services within NHS Ayrshire and Arran. You will be integral to the operational management of the infection control service on all matters relating to the prevention and control of infection and must possess relevant line management experience.
You will work in partnership with all members of the infection control team on minimising the risk of healthcare associated infection (HAI) to patients, staff, visitors and others in line with NHS Scotland infection control standards and evidence based research.

You will contribute to the development and implementation of the annual infection control programme of education, audit, research, guidelines and will also contribute to the development of the Infection Control Annual Report and Work Plan.

This is a permanent full time post (37.5hrs per week).
