Sovereign is introducing some exciting new roles as it launches a Customer Support Fund of 1.5m per year to provide additional services for customers. As part of our commitment to build thriving Communities the Customer Support Fund will allow us to deliver services including Grants for residents, Energy Support, Job Coaching, Money Coaching and Money and Debt advice. You’ll have the opportunity to join a business that puts customers at the heart of all we do and shape one of the largest programmes being delivered to support people through the cost of living crisis.
We have an opportunity to join the team as a Customer Income Advisor on a full time fixed term contract until March .
This role will follow our hybrid approach of home, office and resident visit working. You will be covering our Wiltshire locality.
The starting salary is £29, – £35, depending on experience.
The role:
As a Customer Income Advisor you’ll support customers across our tenures with money management and welfare advice. Managing your own caseload with minimal supervision you’ll provide practical help with welfare benefit, tax credit checks, debt and housing issues, signposting our customers to internal specialists and external agencies when needed.

As you’ll need to travel in this role, having a car and full driving licence is essential.
A DBS check will also be undertaken for the successful candidate.
