Torque Consulting are currently seeking a HR manager for a market leading company based in Based in Derbyshire, the company have been around since the early 90s and are currently expanding rapidly, This position would head up the team and is vital to the company’s growth going forward. They cover various electrical project across the UK large and small scale.


  • Recruiting, hiring and onboarding new employees
  • Addressing work-related issues of individual employees
  • Developing policies that support a safe and professional working environment
  • Supporting employee job/career development (including trainees)
  • HR Administration including topics such as training needs, employee benefits, record keeping, right-to-work etc.
  • Issue and maintenance of the Staff Handbook
  • Upkeep of records within the Management Information System (EasyBOP)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • CIPD L5 HR Qualification or equivalent
  • Strong ability to use MS Office and excellent interpersonal skills
  • UK Driving Licence
  • 5 years of “real-life” experience working in HR


  • Pension – NEST Scheme, 4% company contribution
  • Holidays – 24 days per year + 8 Statutory
  • Personal Accident Insurance – Salary x4
  • Contracted Working Hours – 40 hours, Monday to Friday each week
  • Business Tools Provided – Laptop and mobile phone
