Humanities Teacher Urgently Required!

I am looking for a Teacher of Humanities who will be responsible for teaching Geography, History and Sociology or a combination of the three to Secondary School pupils. This school will provide you with a safe, inclusive and rich learning environment where students feel safe and valued. They set very high standards and expect all students and staff to be respectful, kind, resilient and proud of the school, their achievements and the community. If you are successful, you will be joining a highly motivated faculty and will have the responsibility of teaching key stages 3 and 4.

As a Humanities teacher you will have the responsibility of:

  • Planning, preparing and delivering high quality lessons on a consistent basis.
  • Be able to cover History, Geography and Sociology.
  • Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progression.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
  • Participate in school events, meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Requirements of a Humanities teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the current national curriculum.
  • Eligibility to work with in the UK.
