An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number a Band 5 Nurse to join our Childrens Acute inpatient Unit at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

The Paediatric ward has 21 inpatient beds , 3 daycase beds with a HDU and a 6 bedded assessment unit. We pride ourselves on being a friendly team working to provide high standard family centred care for our patients and families.

Main duties of the job

As a Band 5 registered nurse, you will carry out clinical practice ensuring high quality and current evidence-based nursing assessment, care planning, implementation, interventions and evaluations for patients is provided from admission through to discharge. Working as partners in care at all times with the parents and families to provide family centred care.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
