Senior Compliance & Assurance Manager – Warwick Based – Hybrid Working

Compliance and Assurance go hand in hand. With your experience of data management frameworks and assurance, knowledge of the regulatory environment and development of compliance controls, you’ll know how to bring it all together.

You’ll be central to developing assurance processes, development of tool kits to provide support across Gas Transmission to develop a best-in-class multibillion RIIO T3 business plan, which is supported and brought into by Ofgem and wider stakeholders.

You’ll be responsible for developing and operating the assurance plan to support the T3 Business Plan and provide assurance to Governance Groups (Working group and Delivery Board) throughout the delivery of the business plan build process. This business plan will be the foundation and platform for delivering a transition to a hydrogen network.

As the Compliance & Assurance Manager, you’ll be:

  • Providing strategic thought leadership, management and direction relating to T3 Business Plan assurance, governance and data quality

  • Developing and operating the internal assurance plan to support the delivery of T3 business plan for Gas Transmission

  • Managing the interface and relationship with Ofgem to build confidence and credibility that our plans are best in class and underpinned by robust evidence and data

  • Providing assurance to the Working Group, Delivery Board and wider governance throughout the delivery of the business plan build process around the quality and verification of the plan build

  • Working with the regulatory central team and workstreams to deliver a best-in-class submission, developing frameworks and tooling to support the business and provide assurance and confidence that the plans meets Ofgem’s expectations

  • Ensuring that the data, evidence base and justification for investment proposals are robust and auditable

  • Operating across all lines of defence and be the central focus point for providing support and guidance regarding design and operation of controls

  • Working with external assurance and verification to provide input, support and assurance to the overall plan submission

    • You’ll have experience of working within a regulated business, business partnering and collaboration and ACA or CIMA qualified.
