Our client are looking for a site manager to join a 30+ story high rise apartment scheme. As Facades Manager you will have previously worked ideally with Brick Slip / brickwork facades.
You will part of the Site management team delivering the scheme which will complete in 2024. As a Facades Site manager, you will be responsible to manage site teams of trades of labour on large fast-moving projects. Ensuring all site activity specifically for the Facades and cladding is running programme and planning reporting into the Project Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage subcontractors, to make sure each project phase is being met in a timely manner
* Reading and understanding facade drawings, in order to relay on to the Site team.
* Taking ownership of site issues, and resolving with the support of the Senior Project Manager * Proposing new ideas and being innovative on site.
* Ensure compliance with Group Safety Policy and Health and Safety Regulations.
Experience required:
* Previous experience of managing the Facade elements of projects
* Previous management experience on high rise city centre projects
* Good management/organisational skills, with the ability to manage time and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to interact with all project personnel.
* Self-motivated and able to encourage the Site Team.
* Well organised with a methodical, energetic, proactive and confident approach to work * IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages * Valid SMSTS, First Aid & CSCS card.
