Responsibilities

for this role:
BAU Service Management
Project Work

  • Represent Identity and Enterprise Security in project work, providing professional guidance and advice and ensuring delivery in line with Standards, Controls and business expectations.
  • Assist with the creation of business support documentation and staff training. Contribute to user focus groups as required.
  • Security Monitoring

  • Undertake security monitoring and investigations, identify and report exceptions. Ensure that monitoring is undertaken in accordance with policy.
  • Provide advice and guidance on appropriate access and control monitoring in relation to Identity.
  • Stakeholder Management

  • Facilitate collaboration and stakeholder management across the M&G Plc organisation, managingplex relationships
  • Represent the Identity and Access Controls & Assurance function as required
  • Build strong relationships with the rest of the Enterprise security team and the wider business to collaborate on initiatives and raise awareness of the threat landscape
  • Engage proactively with key business stakeholders internally and with outsourcers, to ensure consistence delivery of services as well as adoption of Security Operations services into their systems.

  • Management Information

  • Provide timely reporting on key service metrics to relevant audiences including the Head of Identity & Access Management, Internal Audit teams, 2nd Line Risk etc., as required
  • Other

  • Promote security awareness to ensure system security and prevent security violations
  • Provide advice and guidance to resolveplex security queries from across the organisation, including interactions with internal and external auditors.
  • Maintain and improve security knowledge by attending educational workshops or conferences, reviewing publications or gaining further security certifications

    The candidate should have a proven track record of:

  • Development and operation of controls in line with frameworks.
  • Good data analysis and excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and Functions
  • A drive to provide continuous process improvement
  • A background and experience of Identity and Access Management processes and technology and associated Logical Access controls.
  • An understanding of the opportunities and security risks associated with people, technology and processes
  • Personal attribute/skills:

  • Self-motivated, able to multi task andplete work within agreed deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently to goals, as well as effectively collaborate part of a team
