An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate individual with great clinical leadership skills to join our NHS Talking Therapies service which operates across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire as a PWP Team Lead!

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will work within the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire NHS Talking Therapies service, offering support and clinical leadership to a team of PWPs to deliver a high quality, efficient and cost-effective service.

The post holder will also be responsible for training, analysing service information, and identifying and implementing service improvements, alongside the day-to-day operational running of the team and service assessment hub.

Working closely with the other members of the management team, the post holder will play an important role in establishing Everyturn Mental Health as the provider of choice.

We would love to hear from you if you possess the following:

  • Recent experience of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem utilising low intensity CBT in the PWP role.
  • Evidence of managing a high-volume caseload.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the PWP role and latest updates to evidence base and delivery.

Hold one of the three options below:

  1. Holds a PG or UG certificate in Low Intensity Interventions from a recognised BPS accredited PWP training provider
  2. MSci Applied Psychology integrated with PWP qualification with dual BPS accreditation as PWP training
  3. PWP Apprenticeship training qualification from a BPS accredited PWP training programme
  • Hold PWP Registration (or be working towards) with BABCP or BPS.
  • PWP supervisor training.

  • Experience of using IAPT data management systems.
  • Experience providing constructive. feedback and encouragement to others
  • Involvement in monitoring quality and safety.

Desirable

  • Experience of facilitating groups, courses and/or webinars.
  • Experience of supporting Computerised CBT (cCBT).
  • Evidence of working to meet needs in the local community.
  • Experience in evaluating service delivery through undertaking audit or research.
  • Supporting others through change.
  • Leading people and teams.
  • Experience of teaching and liaising with other professional groups.
  • Liaising with external agencies and professional groups.
