Job Title: Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker/ Senior Therapeutic Parent
Location: Cheadle
Salary: up to £32,000 per annum
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, resilient and passionate children’s support worker to join our client’s therapeutic children’s homes based in Cheadle.
In this job role you will provide advice, assistance and support to young people, safeguarding their welfare at all times. To attend to their practical, physical and emotional needs. To act as an appropriate, positive role model and to work closely with them to enable them to address their difficulties and achieve their optimum potential by following our client’s programme to assess each child’s progress and development. Keep all paperwork and records up to date. Work alongside the Deputy, Lead and outside professionals to ensure Ofsted standards are met.
The children may have a range of complex needs – which may include emotional and behavioral difficulties linked to trauma.
The role will be 47 hours a week inclusive of sleep in shifts.

To be considered for this position, we are looking for:
- At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar environment (Children’s Residential).
- Confident working to meet Ofsted guidelines.
- NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People).
- A true passion for the care industry and working with children.
- Valid Enhanced DBS and on the update service.
- Full UK Drivers License with access to a vehicle.
