Randstad is recruiting a team of talented care assistants to join our reablement team within the West Lothian area. The role is not without challenges but will also be very rewarding. You will support service users to live their lives as independently as possible and maximise their opportunities. This is a great opportunity to affect real change into the lives of vulnerable adults and their families.

A successful care assistant will be responsible for:

– Working effectively with the manager, team and family members

– Supporting wheelchair bound service users which involves using hoists

– Seizure care (training provided)

– Working to a flexible schedule, including nightshifts, weekends and bank holidays

– Keeping a positive and friendly attitude! You may be the only people the service users see that day

To be successful in your care assistant application, you will:

– Have previous experience working with adults with complex needs

– Experience in, or prepared to undertake training in PEG feeding, epilepsy and moving and handling

– Full driving licence (Essential)
