We are are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a team in an SEN School in Cousldon and be part of an amazing school community.

At this School group, they are dedicated to meeting the academic, therapeutic, and vocational needs of their students. Their mission is to create, adapt, and implement functional curricula necessary to meet the diverse individual needs of their student population and increase current and future independence

You will have:

Minimum of one years solid teaching assistant experience in an SEN setting.

· Experience of working with students with SEND in small groups (preferred but not essential)

· A sound knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum

· Familiarity with Standardised Attainment Tests

· Understanding of and commitment to the school policies, in particular:

· Participation and implementation of the School Behaviour Policy

· Awareness of Health and Safety implementation in the work place

· Implementation of the school Equal Opportunities Policy

· Knowledge of effective strategies to include, and meet the needs of, all pupils in particular underachieving groups of pupils.

This will ensure you aspire to deliver the best outcomes for their young people. In doing so, working together to maintain a consistently good offer in your classroom and beyond.
