Clinical Support Worker – Mixed Speciality Surgical Ward

Salary: £20,669 – £21,318 per annum/pro rata

We are recruiting for a number of Clinical Support Workers across the Divisions of Unplanned and Integrated Care and Planned Care who share our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

Main duties of the job

As a Clinical Support Worker, you will ensure patients receive a high quality of clinical care and a good patient experience. We have a management team that is both innovative and proactive in ensuring that high quality care is delivered to our patients.

Care Certificate Programme to be completed over a specified 6 months period, if not obtained prior to commencement.

  • NVQ 2 in Healthcare / QCF Diploma in Health Level 2 or equivalent qualification

Knowledge

  • Knowledge and experience of taking clinical observations
  • Knowledge of Manual handling of patients, using lifting aids
  • Understanding the requirements of Patient Confidentiality

Desirable

  • Knowledge of hospital systems
