Job summary

In partnership with Rayleigh Primary Care Network (PCN), GP Healthcare Alliance (a federation of GP Practices in Castle Point and Rochford) is hosting an innovative service to recruit a dedicatedAdvanced Clinical Practitioner Pharmacistto the network.

Main duties of the job

You will work across all surgeries within our is a full-time post working hours per week.

The Rayleigh Primary Care Network is made up of the following practices:

  • Audley Mills Surgery
  • Church View Surgery and Jones Family Practice
  • Greensward Surgery
  • Riverside Medical Centre, Hullbridge
  • William Harvey Surgery
  • Downhall Park Surgery

GP Healthcare Alliance is a company originally formed as a GP Federation made up of 18 practices in Castle Point, Rochford and Rayleigh, Essex, working together to provide healthcare for all practices and patients.

All practice members remain independent contractors but work collaboratively to improve healthcare services within our area.

We provide a range of primary care and community services to our local residents, various at scale services for practices as well as professional staff training. We meet nationwide challenges with local knowledge and expertise, tailoring our services to reflect the needs of the communities in which we work.

Essential

  • The post holder will be an experienced general practice pharmacist and qualified advanced practitioner, who acts within their professional boundaries, supporting and working alongside the Primary Care Network (PCN) Clinical Pharmacy team to develop, manage and mentor them.
  • You will be a qualified Pharmacist and will be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • We envisage that the successful candidate will adopt a highly proactive and collaborative approach in helping to develop this role further and in exploring their own development needs. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of successfully working as a Clinical Pharmacist and who will be a good fit with our Network team.
