Aon is currently recruiting a Client Manager to join the Marine logistics team, which covers Outsourced Logistics, Freight Services, 3PL, Supply Chain and Marine Liabilities within our Global Broking Centre (GBC).The role is accountable for the day-to-day running of the account (service) and can include specific objectives for client retention, new existing and new/new business development.This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office. What the day will look like

  • Client relationship management (direct clients and/or network)
  • Client meetings
  • Insurer and underwriter meetings and relationship development
  • Present terms to client/network
  • Review / create / enhance submission
  • Review draft/final MRC
  • Providing benchmarking and placement advice to clients
  • Establish and manage pipeline
  • Produce and/or deliver tenders
  • Complete quote/firm order information in Brokasure including finalise MRC
  • Support development goals and day to day functions of Global Logistics Practice
  • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of required training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
  • How this opportunity is different The Marine Liabilities and Ports & Terminals team comprises of 8 Client Managers, Directors and Brokers. The team serves a wide portfolio of clients with a global presence, supported by our Aon offices and teams throughout North America, South America, Asia Pacific, Europe and Middle East.As a Client Manager, you will be part of a team delivering the servicing and prospecting of clients, client visits and assisting the subsequent placement strategy in conjunction with our retail colleagues.This is an exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic team, in growth mode, with access to Lloyds, Company markets, and other Aon facilities, to deliver the (re)insurance requirements of our Logistics clients.   • Experience within the Logistics industry, preferably with some exposure to Marine Insurance across international markets
  • Experience of managing effective client relationships.
  • Ability to utilise and learn IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good understanding of compliance and regulation
