Stores person – Heathrow

Monday to Friday, 8am 4pm – salary 28k -32k

TCR are looking to recruit customer and service delivery focused Parts and Stores Persons to join their team at Heathrow.

This role covers the stores environment to receive, store, issue and record the traceability of all raw materials, fluid, equipment, spares, tools, PPE, consumables, and client provided materials on the site. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in a busy Parts Department, training will be provided in all TCR processes and procedures. The role will require travel to other TCR locations to cover absence.

Key responsibilities:

  • Materials issue : to identify and understand technician requirements

  • Goods inward: to check and receive deliveries, log items to the IT system, organisation and maintenance of goods received quarantine area

  • Stock Control: to participate in stock counts and reconciliation against inventory, ensure display of barcodes to stock, ensure appropriate/correct storage and location of goods

    About You

    The ideal candidate for this role will have a practical hands on approach and a ‘can do’ attitude as well as being resourceful and very well organised, the role requires the following;

    Knowledge and Skills:

  • Customer oriented/service delivery focused

  • Experience in a vehicle, plant or machinery parts/stores environment – essential

  • Understanding of stores procedures and systems

  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately with good organisational skills as part of a team or individually

  • Literate, analytical, numerate with good IT skills

  • General knowledge of health and safety regulations

  • Excellent communication skills both spoken and written

    • Qualifications:

  • Must have obtained GCSE A-C in Math and English or equivalent

  • Knowledge of mechanical/engineering (desirable)

  • Full, UK driving licence (essential)
