Head of Assets & Decarbonisation Role:
They are looking for a Head of Asset & Decarbonisation to lead their Asset Team and deliver their Asset Management and Decarbonisation Strategy in order to successfully reduce the environmental footprint of thei properties and wider business.
You will lead on the ongoing surveying, energy performance assessment and appraisal of their built assets and manage the Asset team to deliver annual decarbonisation programmes across their housing stock. You will be working closely with their Finance, Development, Housing, Community Regeneration and Customer Services teams, as well as ensuring that their tenants are engaged in their decarbonisation and sustainability activities.
Head of Assets & Decarbonisation Requirements:
They are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest in the net zero carbon agenda, who can lead and shape a very busy, high performing team and work effectively with colleagues to achieve positive outcomes. You will need a relevant degree level qualification along with a relevant professional qualification (such as CIOB or RICS) or demonstrate that you are actively working towards gaining professional status.
You should have good, well-developed project management skills and experience and a proven track record of managing programmes of work and budgets, and line management experience. A highly skilled and effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, you will thrive on working collaboratively and building strong working relationships with other internal teams and external organisations. You will be very IT literate and digitally focused with a passion for developing asset management and GIS systems to drive efficiencies and improve processes. You will have strong analytical skills to understand and interpret property data intelligence to make the right business decisions.
