About the role:

Following the migration of our core ERP solution to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central in 2022, Harding+ is continuing to develop the solution implementing enhancement and new features. Our product workstream for Business Central requires an experienced Test Analyst to help assure quality deliverables from the development team, support our Super User community, and mitigate risk of regular production deployments.

As Test Analyst, you will learn about the ERP system and the business workflows to provide automated test scripts for critical path testing, as well as defining and executing manual testing of new projects and enhancement development tickets.

The role is responsible for the risk assessment of critical business processes for our Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP system and targeting them with scripted tests. You will have a crucial role in managing and assuring business continuity and continuous improvement of the user experience. Being involved in user stories through the delivery lifecycle, actively participate in the development processes from requirement gathering, supporting development with test plans and our business teams with planning and execution of UAT scenarios. You will keep the wider team, including the Product Owner, up to date with the test progress including any risk-based assessments undertaken and raise any issues when relevant.

The role is offered on a hybrid working basis , with a blend of office and home working.

About you:

  • Experience in the generation of automated test suites to ensure that requirements are satisfied, including happy and unhappy path approaches
  • Hands-on experience in developing, running, and maintaining automation tests/frameworks using several technologies (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Scala) and testing frameworks (e.g., cucumber, selenium, puppeteer, Gatling)
  • Understanding of Non-Functional, Load or Performance requirements and how they can be tested
  • Strong understanding of the QA process, defining and implementing test designs
  • Strong experience of iterative/incremental software delivery
  • Automated testing of complex web applications with multiple workflows and paths
  • Performance testing to identify potential issues (response times, database metrics, infrastructure metrics)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong problem-solving & collaborative skills
  • ISTQB certified (Foundation) or equivalent
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working 
  • Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK
