Robert Half is working exclusively with a large international company based in Glasgow. This is the ideal position for an ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or someone with equivalent experience at this level.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role involves:

* Accurately maintain all aspects of the Sales Ledger including accruals and recording of sales invoices;

* Action credit control procedures if necessary;

* Posting of cash receipts on a timely basis;

* Assist in month end procedure by reconciling bank statement per timetable;

* Assist in the review of Revenue against budget or forecast, to ensure completeness and accuracy of invoicing and to contribute variance analysis to monthly Finance Report;

* Assist in preparation of monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.

Profile

* This role would suit a part-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent experience) with good knowledge of accounting standards;

* Strong IT skills;

* Great interpersonal skills;

* Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure;

* Contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Starting salary of £35,000 per annum plus benefits depending on experience, hybrid opportunity.
