Monarch Education are looking to recruit a qualified Early Years Teacher, who will be based in Reception and will have responsibility for one a Reception class. The school will welcome a teacher of a high professional standard who will support the vision, ethos and policies of the school and promoting high levels of achievement in EYFS.

Essential:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or Equivalent.
  • Experience working with EYFS students.
  • A thorough understanding of what constitutes high quality in EYFS educational provision, the characteristics of effective Early Years settings, and strategies for raising standards and outcomes for EYFS children.
  • Have consistent and effective behaviour management techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Curriculum.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.

Ideal:

  • Ability to identify clear teaching objectives and specify how they will be taught and assessed.
  • Evaluating own teaching critically to improve effectiveness.
  • Commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
