I am currently working with a Housing Association based in Sevenoaks, Kent looking for a Repairs Planner to join their team. This is a part time vacancy on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract offering hybrid working with their office based on Sevenoaks, Kent.

Job Title – Repairs Planner

Salary – £21,492

Hours – 30 hours per week

Contract – 12 month FTC

Location – Sevenoaks, Kent

Work Pattern – Hybrid

Responsibilities for the Repairs Planner

  • To effectively prioritise emergency work orders, enabling engineers to attend within 24 hours.
  • Facilitate effective diary management, enabling 7 repairs to be completed per engineer per day.
  • Ensure tenants are contacted with updates regarding their follow-on repairs within three days
  • Proactively monitor, manage, and maintain diaries/workloads for field-based staff to ensure customers experience a positive and proactive repairs service.
  • Ideal Candidate for the Repairs Planner

  • Able to take ownership of challenging messages and difficult conversations with customers, contractors, and colleagues to overcome problems, including helping to resolve complaints.
  • Extensive customer service experience, ideally in a housing and/or repairs and maintenance environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with customers across a range of contact channels, including telephone and email.
  • Willingness to keep your own learning up-to-date.
