A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Scrub Practitioner /  Nurse to join a highly reputable and leading private hospital based in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Scrub Practitioner /  Nurse to join their motivated and friendly theatre team. The hospital boasts state-of-the-art facilities and offer consultations with specialities in a wide range of treatments. In addition, the hospital has a modern ITU department to allow more complex cardiac procedures and TAVI. The hospital offers screening, rehabilitation and surgical procedures across a variety of specialist treatments. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Scrub Practitioner /  Nurse to gain experience across a variety of specialisms.

Duties and responsibilities

You will be working as a Scrub Practitioner /  Nurse and will be responsible for the following;

  • Assist patients undergoing a range of elective orthopaedic procedures
  • Provide excellent patient care to every individual patient
  • Carry out scrub duties to a varied caseload of patients
  • Provide and receive complex and sensitive information
  • Promote best practice, people’s equality and diversity rights
  • Contribute to quality improvement and promote best practice

 

Who we’re looking for

  • Be NMC / HCPC registered – your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 1 years UK experience in orthopaedic scrub
  • Able to showcase excellent patient care
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capable and confident to work on own initiative
