We are looking to recruit a nurse who is passionate about patient safety and the delivery of exceptional quality care. You will have an interest in respiratory medicine and a willingness to develop the skills required to become a champion in this field and share those knowledge and skills with your nursing team. Experience is not required as during the first 18 months of joining us, you will have the opportunity to develop a passport of clinical skills which will enable you to be a competent Respiratory Nurse.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of patient care in a caring, compassionate and sensitive manner. Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre-registration students. The post holder will take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team and the maintenance of high standards of quality patient care on a shift basis
