A Business Administration apprenticeship opportunity has become available within the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Service based at Wareham Hospital.
We are looking for an enthusiastic new team member to join our Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Service on a fixed term basis. This is a part time post of 30 hours per week. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a great team player and good attention to detail.
You will enrol on to a Business Administration level 3 qualification at Wiltshire College, learning will be taught virtually online and you will not have to travel to the college. You will be supported through this by the team. This will open up the possibility of progression opportunities and future higher level apprenticeships.
The Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Service provides assessment, diagnosis and intervention to people with CFS/ME in Dorset. We are looking for an motivated and flexible administrator who will support this small and specialist team. You will assist us in developing our administration protocols to ensure that the patient journey runs as smoothly as possible, and be responsible for various admin duties and functions across the service.
The role is initially fixed term. The current admin base is Wareham Hospital but some work can be done virtually/home based and we are open to discussion around working hours patterns
Main duties of the job
You will manage out patient clinic booking, input data, correspondance and notes to the clinical record system, book appointments, deal with queries and calls from patients and other usual admin duties. Support and training will be available from the team
The apprenticeship will cover modules such as decision making, project management and planning & organising. This will equip you with skills that will kickstart your career in the NHS and open up the possibility of future apprenticeships.
