Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Inner City PCN as an ARRS role, working solely with us at East Trees Health centre in Bristol. We are seeking an additional clinical pharmacist to support our medicines management team of 2 pharmacist prescribers, 2 pharmacy technicians and 3 prescription clerks. The post holder will support our senior pharmacist in all aspects of meds management, training and project work.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will:
- Lead on medicines optimisation projects as delegated.
- Hold own clinics, seeing patients for medication reviews
- Support training of prescription clerks
- Sign off checked prescription requests
- Oversee an area of QOF (quality outcome framework)

East Trees Health Centre is a busy 16000 patient practice in South Bristol. We are a 4 partner training practice hosting a range of other services; health visitors, community nursing, podiatry, MSK, physiotherapy, acupuncture, midwifery, speech and language.
Our team comprises 6 salaried GPs, 4 nurses, an ANP, 2 HCAs and a work hard to ensure our team feel valued and supported and that they have the time to train and attend courses that enhance their own personal development. We are a flexible employer.

Essential
- Must be a prescriber.
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Desirable
- Worked in a Primary care setting
- Experience of medicines management and budgets
- Experience of training other staff.
- IT literate
