Our client, a designer and installer of vehicle liners, requires an experienced CNC Operator to join its friendly team in Gloucester. This role may become permanent following a successful trial period. The site is easily reached from Gloucester City Centre. Full training is provided.

The Role :

  • To ensure the Shopbot CNC machines are kept running, producing high quality and accurate parts with a good level of efficiency
  • To produce goods whilst providing an excellent service
  • Must have a keen eye for detail and results driven approach
  • Must also be competent in stock control, quality control and must be able to complete each essential duty in an exemplary manner.

    • Duties :

  • To keep the machines running to produce products to meet daily targets
  • To carry out general maintenance of the equipment as per training and manufacturers guidelines
  • Check parts produced are of a high quality and accurate to requests
  • Ensure material cut is correctly and of a high quality
  • Report any faults immediately and complete machine safety checks frequently
  • Monitor machine consumables and inform the workshop manager when more parts are required
  • Maintain a clean and organised working area
  • Undertake training as required
  • Empty waste material regularly to avoid overflow
  • General warehousing duties

    • Working Hours & Rate of Pay :

  • Monday to Friday 08.00-16.30
  • £13.00 per hour
