Job summary

  • Coordinate, source and/or create, deliver and support adults working within Health and Social Care environments across Bath, Northeast Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire, Integrated Care System (BSWICS), in relation to improving their numeracy skills. Activity can be undertaken with individuals and/or groups. The role will ensure that the numeracy skills (Multiply) programme is planned, managed, and delivered effectively. Demonstrating a creative and imaginary approach, to learner-centred support and delivery. Ensuring Learners thrive and become confident and competent in relation to their numeracy skills. The role would also include supporting and informing the targeting of resources (signposting individuals and organisations), monitoring, implementation, and evaluation of the Multiply programme, by providing high quality support, communications, and stakeholder management

Main duties of the job

  • Required to maintain trusted and constructive relationships with Learners, education providers and employing organisations, including Secondary Care, Primary and Social Care Organisations across BSWICS.
  • Build rapport to maintain and enhance Learner and organisation relationships, promoting the Multiply programme, when and where relevant
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders within BSW Organisations and assist in the support and delivery of numeracy skills across BSWICS
  • Motivating and coaching Learners with their numeracy skills, before and during relevant Multiply programmes; with an aim to build people’s self-confidence in relation to numeracy skills and the competence to apply these skills to real life situations.
  • Participate in relevant internal and external working groups/projects, services, and initiatives which may be highly complex, sensitive, political, and contain contentious information with the aim of providing information and analytical advice to the teams.
  • Work with members of the Academy Learning Pillar team to develop and implement Multiply project data collection systems that will provide accurate and timely data
  • Communicate information, risks, issues, and dependencies, including briefings and reports to the Academy Learning Pillar team, sponsors, and a range of internal and external colleagues.
