**£38-42k, working Monday – Friday, weekly pay, Employee share incentive plan, Subsidised gym membership**

Due to continued growth a leading manufacturer of plastic parts used in the building and construction industry are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

This role will focus on improving machine reliability and performance, and improving processes, resulting in less downtime and improved OEE.

As a Maintenance Engineer your duties will include –

  • Maintaining all machinery, ancillary equipment and conveyors
  • Developing a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) plan and timely completion of work carried out
  • Troubleshooting machine malfunctions
  • Working closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal departments in identifying ways to improve processes and increase machine reliability and performance
  • Monitoring equipment performance and maintaining detailed maintenance records
  • Responsibility for general site maintenance and to oversee site contractors working in the manufacturing department

    • To be successful in the role of Maintenance Engineer the ideal candidate will –

  • Be Apprentice served or a professionally qualified Engineer/ Technician
  • Have experience of maintaining and repairing plastics processing machinery such as extruders, blow moulding or injection moulding equipment
  • Have experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge of plant operation principles, methods, and processes
  • Have proven analytical skills with sound fault finding and problem-solving ability

    • Based near Rainham this role is commutable from locations such as Maidstone, Tonbridge, Ashford, Canterbury, Gravesend, Sevenoaks and all surrounding areas.
