Title: Contracts Manager

Location: West Sussex

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000

Our client is a medium sized contractor based on the South Coast, this regional business has several offices across this region. In recent weeks they have secured several new schemes, this has sparked a recruitment drive for a multiple of positions, the urgent need for an experienced Contracts Manager with high end residential experience.

His contractor specialises within the prime residential sector, the value of projects range from £1 million to £9 million across Hampshire, West Sussex & some parts of Surrey. The contracts manager would be responsible for 2/3 schemes simultaneously & must have experience working within this field.

This client is looking to interview ASAP with a start date in May or June.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze contract terms and conditions
  • Negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure contract compliance
  • Address and resolve any contract disputes that may arise
  • Ensure that all contract documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage contract budgets and ensure that projects are delivered within budget constraints
  • Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Contracts Manager
  • Strong understanding of contract law and regulations
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple contracts simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management software
