Cleanliness Support Worker Trauma and Orthopaedics Ward – B1 Band 2 Permanent
HOURS PER WEEK
Hours of work are between 8am – 4pm (Monday to Friday) Negotiable
We are looking to recruit a Cleanliness Support Worker to cover our Trauma and Orthopaedic Wards to ensure our patient’s receive care in a safe and clean environment.
This is a post to support the ward on a daily basis, to support the team and the general cleanliness and tidiness of the ward. This will also ensure regular hydration rounds are completed
Cleanliness is paramount to support the ward with day to day routine. This role will also support patient experience and friends and family.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work as an integral part of the ward team. They will assist in providing a clean, tidy, safe and comfortable environment for patients that will ensure the nursing team are able to deliver a high quality of service to the Trust patients.
The role involves ensuring the delivery of specific aspects of patient care, equipment cleaning and nutritional support together with other specified tasks to meet patient needs, as determined by the lead nurse.
The post holder will be required to work closely with the nursing team and support services. They will raise any issues regarding quality standards with the lead nurse.
