Defence Equipment
The Insights Programme Manager role is based within our Defence Equipment business area.

Defence equipment stores, maintains, repairs and overhauls military vehicles and equipment so the UK army is able to train and deploy in a moment. As well as supporting vehicles that are already in service, the team carries out vehicle assembly integration and tests new vehicles.

The difference our new Insights Programme Manager will make

As an Insights Programme Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This position plays a crucial role in developing high-quality insight output that aligns to the Land Defence Equipment strategy and upholds the programme governance.

Day to day, you’ll manage and deliver the insights programme road map to realise the Land Defence Equipment strategic plan and facilitate communication among the programmes’ cross-functional teams.

You’ll also lead the output, data management and IAM framework alignment for the insights department. You’ll ensure that the programme pipeline reflects the purpose of the insights function to co-ordinate equipment support activity to realise value from assets and provide integrated information regarding the optimal combination of costs, asset related risks and the performance and condition of assets across the whole life cycle for the Army customer.

Essential experience
* Experienced in programme and project management
* Information or data exploitation experience
* Understanding of commercial structures
* You must hold or have the ability to obtain SC security clearance
* Autonomy work – ability to use own initiative
