Main duties of the job

To work closely with the Front of House Board Lead,Managing Director, the Base Team and the Board to develop, plan and implementthe organisations operational and strategic marketing, public relations, communicationand engagement strategies and plans.

Working closely with the Base Team& Board, be responsible for the planning, development and implementation ofall of the organisations internal and external marketing, communication andpublic relations strategies, and activities.

Ensure Your Healthcare presents clear messagesabout purpose, role, achievements and unique selling points both internally andexternally to secure increased market share, strengthen engagement andconfidence in the services we provide and promote the work of the organisation.

Support and strengthen existing partnerships andalliances, identify and facilitate new relationships that will benefit YH andthe community it serves.

Ensure articulation of YHs desiredimage and position, assure consistent communication of image and positionthroughout the organisation and to all stakeholders, internally and at local,national and international levels.

Keep the Managing Director fully briefed of issuesof interest to the public/press.

Act as YH representative with the mediamanage and coordinate media interest in YH and ensure regular contact with targetmedia giving an appropriate response to media requests.

Develop effective mechanisms for the rapiddissemination of general information within YH ensuring that staff are kept upto date.

To support developments in technology& digitalisation across YH.

Oversee development and implementationof support materials and services for YH services and departments in the areaof marketing, communications, engagement and public relations.

Be responsible for editorial direction,design, production and distribution of all YH generated publications .

Ensurethe continual review and maintenance of YHs website and intranet site toensure that it presents an up to date image of the organisation, its purpose,services and achievements.

Toregularly review YHs branding & guidelines ensuring consistency ofapplication across YH.

Lead projects as agreed, such ascause-related marketing and special events.

Provide reputation management and media advice andtraining to all levels as required.

Organise specific events, MP visits, openings, launchesof new services and campaigns, YH Annual General Meeting.

Represent YH and the Customer Care and Facilities departmentexternally at local, regional and national meetings and events as required.

To participate in the operational managers on callrota responding appropriately toemergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
