Job summary
Provide a comprehensive service to support the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) in the organisation and planning of duties and workload, which supports service delivery.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion function and will ensure that the business is managed effectively and efficiently.
The post holder will handle highly confidential and sometimes very contentious and sensitive information of a personal, financial and political nature and will therefore be relied upon to observe and comply with specific and implied confidentiality rules and policies.
The post holder will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and deliver a range of initiatives associated with employee experience and workplace well being and will support the implementation of a selection of projects.
Set up and maintain robust information reporting systems which will enable the production of progress reports and other documentation as requested.
The post holder is expected to work flexibly to support the Head of Organisational Development, and assist and support other colleagues if required this includes working as part of a team within the People Directorate providing cover as required.
Main duties of the job
Are you are an experienced, approachable and hard-working Administrator with a commitment to making a difference to the staff who work at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board?
We are looking for an individual with excellent administrative and communication skills to join our small, yet pivotal, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) Team, based at Pontypridd Cottage Hospital in Pontypridd with the expectation to be flexible and travel depending on service need.
You will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day running of the ED&I function and will ensure that the business is managed effectively and efficiently.
You will also deal with queries from a multitude of sources with compassion and professionalism; collaboratively with colleagues to develop and deliver a range of initiatives associated with ED&I and will support the implementation of these projects.
You will work closely with all team members to ensure efficient completion of all admin duties and delivery of excellent patient care. You will need to be reliable, flexible and well-organised with strong communication, IT and time management skills
